LL Cool J or 50 Cent? Why?

Talk about their value system, their traits, their qualities as people, their standing in society, their being a role model (or not) to other people, more especially kids who idolise them, and all. Its not all about the music...

LL Cool J is fine as wine! He doesn't rap about blowing the next peron head off. 50 cent starts beef between rappers like the Game to boost his record sales. I think that LL Cool is a better role model. i know that kids are going to look up to 50 cent more though. LL has been around forever and i have never heard anythiing negative about him.

I GOTTA REPRESENT BOTH BECAUSE THEY'RE FROM THE SAME 'HOOD WHERE I GREW UP....They have both been extremely successful with their works of art. I feel that for anybody to be a role model in my book, is they have to do something good for human kind. You can't really talk about their value system, because the music industry is based on lies and fantasy life styles, so how do you truly know what these men are really like, unless you are related to them, or live with them. In the end when it comes down to the record sales, they both have been iconic in the hip hop/rap world.

LL is a legend. From "rock the bells" to " I can't live without my radio" he is a true lyracist. LL is a family man, and has a clean act. he doesn't care about everybodyelse wanting to be a pimp or a gansta. He's his own man and commands respect for that. When you look at LL vs. 50. Do you want your kids to idolize a drug dealer who was shot 9 times or an artist who did his own thing and turned into a god fearing family man? I say LL hands down.

i dont know anything about their personal values or existence in society apart from they are musicians. that is all that matters. they are in the music industry, and not supposed to b looked upon as a role model. 50 is butters though and LL is hot. 50 is a better artist though.

I personally like both, but 50 Cent is more well known, ecpecially to kids. LLCoolJ has very wierd music videos and isn't the best romodle. I think 50 cent is also a better singer.

LL. Not that he's the greatest role model on earth, but I think he's a lot better than 50 cent. He doesn't rap about b*tches and hos and shooting people. He raps about sex, but hey who doesn't like sex? =P And usually he presents it in a more sensual, do-your-lady-right kinda way than 50 does.
