I want advice from dancers who have worked at either place. What is the audition like? What do I need to bring? What do they look for? How much training do I need? I have 14 years of experience in dance (Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical etc.) and 7 years in musial theater.

I have not been a dancer, but I have some friends that are at Disney and for fun I went to a character audition (I got an offer to act as non-face characters under 5'2). The auditions are brutal, especially if you are trying out for a face character or dancer. It's good to bring a resume, and a great head shot. They want people who look "magical". They will teach you a dance for a few hours and then you must do the dance in front of a group of judges. You must be flawless. They also look at you personality. Disney is all about making fantasy a reality. If you come across as rude and cold it will not matter how well you dance you wont make it. If your lucky you might start off as a dancer for one of the parades. Disney does not do many public auditions. If your in college I recommend looking into Disney's college program, you may have to work 6 months in a job you may not care for, but the connection are great and you can always find out when they are having open auditions. Good luck!
