The results are planned, the speeches are planned, the action is planned, bleeding is planned, everything is planned.
But that doesn't mean a chair shot doesn't sting. And that the blood isn't real. But it is all just athletic acting.

It is scripted. It's like a soap opera w/ really big dudes on it. LOL. The term used to describe it is 'kayfabe'. For more info on kayfabe hit the link below.
As far as being hit w/ chairs, yes, a lot of that stuff is real but remember it is planned. They know what they are going to do & how to execute it so they don't get hurt.
Sometimes they do get hurt however. For instance, Jake Roberts had several ruptured vertebra when the Honky Tonk Man hit him w/ a guitar. The guitar was supposed to bust apart but didn't. Whoever they sent out to get the guitar came back w/ the wrong one or so the story goes.
Also, Finlay almost severed his leg when falling through a table. It is amazing the man can walk now let alone wrestle. Some sources say that they use certain types of tables during matches so that they bust easily w/o injuring the wrestlers & that they used the wrong type of table in this particular match. Other sources say he just landed wrong & ended up w/ a severed nerve in his knee. Doctors gave him a 50% chance of using the leg again. Well he is still wrestling. You have to give it to that tough old coot.
As far as bleeding goes, guys like Ric Flair & Mick Foley have mastered it. They use razor blades that they pull out of their wristbands. Ever notice all those straight cut scars on Flair's forehead? The head, when cut, appears to bleed heavily & always looks worse than it really is. My sister is a nurse & told me that head injuries always look worse than they appear b/c of that.
We all know it is fake. We get tired of people saying "why do you watch that, you know it's fake right?" It is very entertaining & some of the guys are so good at kayfabe that they just pull you right in to it. They are masters of it.

The story lines are fake, but the fighting is real. Yes the ending are planned and the fall rehearsed, but you try getting hit with a chair or falling off a steel cage and tell me if it hurts.

It is just entertainment and has been scripted out, of course nobody can take that kind of beating and get up and wrestle the next week. I love to watch it anyway, I will watch it tonight at 8:00 oclock on channel 69 wupn.

The shots, interviews and everything IS planned, but mistakes happen so it's not all fake. If it was all fake Benoit wouldn't be missing teeth, or have a neck problem, Steve Austin wouldn't have had neck surgery and the biggest thing that proves mistakes happen and not all the blood and such is fake is that something went horribly wrong and Owen Hart died doing a stunt.

"The only case that it is real is if you're talking about Strong Style Puroresu or hardcore style (XPW, ECW, CZW, etc.) Anything else is scripted and fake."
Wrong, XPW, ECW and CZW is also fake.
The outcome is pre planned, but the injuries are very real. It's just as dangerous as any other sport. So think of it as you will.

Some people buy into it no matter the age, like some people buy into the soap operas, some people still believe in santa, easter bunny, pinnochio, hey, that's show biz. it sells, some people enjoy it, and to each his own. I think it is so fake it is funny especially if you turn the sound off, ever tried doing that?

You are stupid, it's as simple as that. They have writers that help create the story lines. The blood is usually real, but most of it is from blading and they hit eachother as stunts, so they do it in a way so that they hurt eachother in the smallest amount
