I am in the same boat as you are. I'm 17 and i've never seen my dad. I think that if you really want to go see him then nothing should be holding you back. Let your heart be your guide.

you shouldn't go unless your mom is with you because you wouldn't want anything bad to happen to you and have family members worried.
