Indians from India or Indians in the UK? Well I'm British and I don't have a problem with either of them. Some people think there are too many Asian people in the UK (Indians included) but they are usually only the racist people. Most British people are tolerant and welcoming of all races and nationalities and wouldn't see an Indian person differently from any other person.
As for Indians from India, a lot of people don't like the way that British call-centre and manufacturing jobs are sometimes moved to India, and the general perception of India is of poverty and a divided society.

I'm British and I think that many Indian people are very nice. The only time I have really been irritated by British Indian people is when they say stuff that suggests their culture is better than mine, or when they make no effort to understand British culture dispite having moved to Britian. Most are great though- most of my best friends are Asian. What do Indian people think of the British?

Although I'm British I was brought up in a different country. I don't see Indians any differently from any other race/culture/colour. Most Indians have a wonderful relationship with their family and community which is great.

I like and respect Indian people.
I guess we all have stereotypes about different races, so I would say - though you shouldn't generalise!
Indian people are often highly intelligent. Very astute in business. Likely to drive a hard bargain. Intuituve, perceptive. Lively and hard working.
Can be a little cold, self seeking and narcissistic.
Often extremely beautiful and graceful.
Hope that is of interest. Its based on a short visit to India 20 years ago, life in London, Indian friends and work colleagues.

Some Indian people ARE British.
Indian people are like all other races, some are nice, some are horrible.
From my personal experience the Indian people I have met are friendly, peaceful & polite...its all in their culture & religion (most Indian people are Hindu or Sikh).
If you mean American Indians the same applies (ie they are like all other races, some are nice, some are horrible) - but I've never met anyone from American Indian descent.
Some of my family are from India & Im VERY proud of that!

My opinion of Indians is the same as it is for anyone. i view everyone positively untill they prove otherwise, and then it is on an individaual basis and does not tarnish my view of everyone else of the same culture, origin or heritage.

I assume you mean Indians from India. I don't know. Do they think about them much? I'm sure they have other things to think about.
