My friend asked me if it is okay to be gay. Ididn't know what to say.Can any one help me?

It certainly is okay to be gay, but one has to know that for sure. There are many people who call themselves gay, for the heck of it, without actually being one! So, yes, if your friend feels that he or she is cerainly gay, then your friend needs to -
a) tell his parents
b) be confident about his sexuality later on (there could be people who ridicule him/ cause him distress)
c) read up on laws and legislations about civil unions, property owning etc. and adoption.

I think being gay is wrong. First its a sin. I am a christian so in my knowledge it is very wrong. If God is the center of your life ur friend would think so to. You know God is awesome. He can do all things. Are u a christian. God can really work in u and your friend if u allow him to. He can take ur friends desire to be gay away if you and your friend would just pray n let God in yalls life. And ask him to take it away.

You are what you are. You can't change that. It's better to be yourself than a person hiding behind a mask. If other people don't like your choices, that's fine. You're living your life, they're not living it. If people can't respect you for what you are, then themselves don't deserve any respect for being conceited and shallow.

Sure it's OK to be gay.
Personaly I don't really care.
I just don't like the idea of parading around telling everyone.
Straight people don't have a parade.

Ya .. it is up to the person .. not his friends ... if he wants to be .. then yes .. i am a christian .. and i am NOT for it .. but i am not going to judge someone if they are gay .. i will still be friends with that preson .. but i would NEVER become gay personally .. so it is up tp him ...

IT depends on ones personal believes, and the society that they live in, for many it is not..for others its ok..this is not a cut and dry question. most major religions forbid it.

of course its okay to be gay. there is a lot of gay people out there so its time people start excepting it. gay people are awesome!! :)
