Do you think there is ANOTHER W. Cup Of Referees 2006 going on --- referees trying to see who issues the most yellow and red cards. For me the one who issued THREE yellow cards is way ahead.

I vote for the guy who gave three reds, called 37 fouls, and then put his whistle completely away in the last 20 minutes.

Who saw Croatia vs Australia? Cuz in that game the ref gave THREE Yellow Cards to the same player! First sum time during the game the ref gave the Croatia player a yellow. Around the 90th minute gave the same player its second and didnt even notice he had a yellow already. Around the 92-95th minute the player got its Third yellow and then the red card.

I can understand FIFA encouraging the refs to use their cards more to help regulate the game a little better this year. I do think they have gone a little over board with the cards this year though.
And there was NOT a player for Croatia given three yellow cards in one game. Two players both recieved two yellows, and they both have very similar last names.

Yeah, Grahame Poll is cool, but you have never seen Russian Football, one guy got three RED cards is 1 match. 1 for a foul, 2 for words, and 3 for spitting on the ref!

The level of incompetence is getting ridiculous. The yellow card were to be issued to help the game, not tolerating hard fouls. Is having a contrary effect, hurting the game and the results. It is not a conspiracy against anyone, just sheer incompetence.

The refereeing in the world cup is awful. Fifa should be doing a very careful investigation and should fire the referees that deserves to be fired.
