Green Day is pretty old but why are they still kikckin??

Green Day will always be popular. There are some bands that never go out of style and are amazing songs tht all eras can enjoy. Bon Jovi is old but everyone still loves his music too!

Because they changed their music style to fit modern day youth. I don't like them anymore because they did that, but obviously other people like them. Green Day totally changed their style, compare Brain Stew to that Wake Me Up When September Comes song... there is a BIG difference. Blink 182 also tried to do this, and their new CD sucked big. Don't ge4t me wrong I LOVE the old Green Day stuff- but this new stuff their doing sucks... they've changed so much. They never used to wear make up and care about the way they looked. Now, they are all into that stuff- it makes them look like posers. Also, look at AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, & Aerosmith- they are all old but people still love them. I like them becuase they didn't change their style to get more listeners, their solid all the way through. Classic Rock ROCKS!!!!

I don't agree with what they say but I respect them as far as the way they're promoted and the way they work the audience. They have really good writting abilities too. They keep up with current events and know how some issues evoke emotion so that they can maximize their following. THAT'S how you make a profit! Like the news does.

They struck a cord way back, and those people who listened to them then, listen to them now, regardless how simple the music is. Also, with age comes respect.

who knows but i guess it doesn't matter cause some of there songs are pretty good.
