and buldings have no numbers
even japanese people have trouble finding places.
when they give smeone their address ,
they usually have to draw a map to show excactly where their house is.
how do postman mange to deliver letters

I imagine they are given some serious exams on where places are, not unlike London taxi drivers!

the zip code is very long and it is sorted 1st by the pc code... then the address then the name.
