I know is it not legal in California. My question is focused on Georgia law. Is it legal in Georgia???

You mean, "paid time off"? Well, I know that here in California, if you don't use your paid time off, you're supposed to get compensated for it at the end of the year.

Not only is it legal, it's good business practice. Otherwise you'd have employees who would stockpile months and months of leave then take it all at once, causing staffing shortages for the employer and forcing the employer to spend money on replacement staff. Plus people who work for several years without using their leave tend to be less productive and more prone to having personal issues in the workplace.

Yep-your employer can make the rules on how to govern the policies within the company. They do not even have to give you the time off, so be thankful you even have it.

Depends on the company policy and the state guidlines. Federal law does not prohibit use it or lose it.
