If you have practiced, and know your part, you'll probably be OK. I suspect most of your compadres are nervous as well, so just be encouraging to each other and do your part. I have noticed that once you get started, a lot of the anxiety goes away. Good luck!

Stay hydrated! Drink plenty of fluids. Keep a washcloth or towel with you to wipe sweat off of your brow!

You have probably heard this already but do not lock your knees. Also, eat something like turkey or chocolate anything with tryptophane (sp). It can help to calm your nerves naturally.

just don't think about it. pretend it's not the real thing. the best advice is just to not think about it. Just focus on staying in step. If you can master that, you'll be fine.

make sure you eat breakfast and i have more tips but they ain't coming to my mind......i have many friends in marching band but i was only in concert and combined concert band....
