Think of all your interests & ask yourself if any of those could be expanded into a business. Just keep in mind...what's your expertise? What are your interests? What could you imagine yourself doing?

By researching the prospect of starting your own business -- what it entails, what you need to know, helpful hints, etc -- you'll feel better prepared to take that plunge.

Are you thinking job or business? An internet business can be started in just about any category you care to think of. Between selling your own products or services and doing affiliate marketing or network marketing, it really depends on what you would like to do.

Work at home jobs for the deaf can be more challenging to find. I know http://www.nticentral.org/apply/a0030.shtm works with people with disabilities, so they might be a good resource for you if a job is what you are after.

I am deaf, and I work at home on the internet. I'm a bookdealer and sell collectible books on eBay. I've been doing this for about two years now. I love my job!

Books are very profitable to sell on the internet, if you know which ones are in demand. Some books are worthless. It is a matter of educating and researching yourself to know which books to buy and resell.

I go to library sales advertised on http://www.booksalefinder.com They sell books dirt cheap.

Another profitable things to sell on ebay are: glass china pottery, retro clothes, vintage toys, DVD's and video games & sets, and more.

These things can be found at thrift stores and garage sales. It is a matter of finding a niche that you are comfortable with and enjoy learning about. You just need to research completed listings on eBay on that particular category and take notes on what is valuable. You can notice a pattern on what people are paying good money.

You can't learn all this overnight. It takes time and trial and error. I had been doing this as a hobby for about three years before I started doing it full time.
