It is very annoying, but the only thing they could do is ban each and every IP address, and that would take forever. This is because, each time a bot enters a chat room, it always shows a different false IP address. Therefore, yahoo doesn't waste time attempting to ban the bots, although it is very annoying.

Cause Yahoo doesn't CARE. If they cared they would have figured out how to bring back user rooms by now which pretty much kept bots out.

It pays their bills and keeps the lights on.
pretty soon, they will be able to use satellites to transmit advertisments into our dreams as we sleep.
