As an HR person, I recommend trying to resolve the situations where you are first. Don't start from the position of anger, calm down first. Then make a list of the things that your boss is doing and how you feel about it. Request a meeting with her/him and tell him that you are considering leaving due to way you feel from his abrasive style. Ask if there is anything you are doing that brings this out in him. Ask if you can make things any better. Ask if he wants you to stay.
If an open honest meeting doesn't resolve the problem, then you can begin to look for a new role.

Learn what you can from him/her, after all most entrepreneurs earn a decent living. Go to college in the evenings or do a correspondence course. Sit tight until you have an alternative source of income.

Start looking for another job. I suggest posting your resume on Monster.com. I got my last 2 jobs from Monster, in both cases I wasn't actively looking for a job, but employers found my resume there. In turn they contacted me about whether I was interested in changing positions. I now have a job I am very happy with as a result. Just remeber it is always easier to find a job when you have one already.

Start looking for another job RIGHT NOW. Be as professional as you possibly can with your jerk of a boss for as long as you are stuck working there, give the required 2 weeks notice once you find a job, and leave on a high note. Don't stoop to his level!

You have 3 choices. 1) Find another job. 2) Shut up and knuckle down. 3) Go on the dole (if you live ina country that provides it). If 1) is proving impossible you just have to decide which of 2) or 3) is the least unappealing option....

Try and hold your temper. Post a resume on Monster and career builder. Hopefully you will get a new job soon and then you can tell him you quit. Give notice when you do though. Just leaving a job doesn't make you look good to any future employers.

Do the following steps:
1) Figure out what kind of job you want
2) If the job requires education/training, then get it while you are still working.
3) Find that job you want, while still working.
4) (optional) Tell that guy you worked for exactly what you think of him.

unless you are financially independent, I would suck it up and keep working, but be continually on the look out for another job.
