My ex and I broke up three years ago. We've just been friends since then, but I'm pretty sure he still has feelings for me. We live in different countries, so we haven't seen each other since then (though we've been in somewhat sporadic contact), but we'll be living in the same town beginning next month.

I'd really like things to work out with him (by work out, I mean marriage), but I'm aware that they might not. I've changed a lot and maybe he has, too. So, I guess I just need some reassurance. Also, I think he's the sort of guy who won't bring it up unless I do. Is that a bad sign?

So many things can change between two people in three years, especially since you haven't been in regular contact with each other. Just take things slow. You're basing your hopes of everything working out between the two of you on the man you knew 3 years ago! Get to know him all over again first, THEN decide if he truly is the one for you. Just take it slow - don't rush it. Enjoy today, and live like there's no tomorrow. Good luck to both of you!
