Hey I'm the same- I was like, 6 1/2 stone! I went up to 7 1/2 and I'm happier now... I just put on weight very gradually, over about 6 months. I just ate lots of wholemeal pasta and bread (and choccy!) and aimed to put on about 1/2 pound per week and it worked. Still, I have to work very hard to keep it on as it just falls off me! My mum was the same so I guess it's just genes. I hate people looking at me like I'm anorexic but I am happy with my body so I ignore them. So just try to accept urself the way you are and if you want to be less thin then just aim to put on a little bit at a time. Don't get obsessive though, just talk to your doc about what stuff you could eat to help you get some curves!

The important thing is to be healthy. If you're at a healthy weight, which means your body regulates for you to be that weight and you're not inducing it, then be happy with yourself. It's the same as someone who's a little heavy and can't lose weight. Different people have different body sizes.
If you're worried about not being healthy (there are some things that could be causing you to be thinner than you should be), you can talk to your doctor. I hope you learn to be happy with your body. Remember, it's not who you are, it's just a tool to function in this world!

If you don't already, you could start weight training to build some bulk. Talk to a personal trainer or someone who works at a gym about a routine that will increase your size in the places you want to. They may also be able to suggest a diet to help increase your size in a healthy way.

Eat foods high in cabohydrates. Am not saying that you stop eating a balanced diet. All you need to do is look for options that have high cabohydrates. E.g. if taking fruits go for bananas and apples instead of oranges. Go for potatoes instead of rice, hot chocolate instead of tea etc. And of course sleep for not less than 8 hrs.
Good luck!

Drink Ensure for breakfast. It has a lot of calories and vitamins and minerals. They give it to patients who need to gain weight all the time...cancer patients, thyroid patients, underweight people. It also comes in many flavors and it doesn't taste too bad. Boost is another product you could try.
Ignore the comments from ignorant people; my best friend has a hyper thyroid and people always say oh, you are so lucky, you are so skinny, in actuality she has a medical condition.

Hey hun, dont worry about putting on weight. That will all come when your metabolism slows down later in life. What you can do to make you feel better about your size is to accentuate your best attributes. If you've got great legs, wear skirts that flatter them. If you've got great posture pronounce it. Keep your head up kid... Everyone has beauty...
And you've got it so FLAUNT it!

I'm exactly like you too but i would just suggest to eat healthy and drink lots of water and excercise. I wouldn't suggest to eat lots of junk food or anything because it's just going to be bad for your body in the end. Good Luck! :)

hi, i would suggest, by bringing in some red meat, make sure it is cooked properly, try and not over exercise, dont be afraid to eat sweet things, a bit of chocolate can doo no harm if it is balanced with the right foods, avacados are full of fat, but good fat, and is a great vegetable, just try to vary the foods you eat,
