It hurts when I first began to wear contacts, but only when my eyes had alergies or were really dry/tired. Contacts are so comfortable, I got special ones with built in moisture to help with the dryness. It really helps.

Until you get used to them, it might feel like you have an eyelash in your eye or something. If your eyes get dried out easily, carry around a little bottle of re-wetting drops, they help. If you find that you use them a lot, you can look into getting special contacts for dry eyes.
*Also, make sure you are putting them in the right way - this is important. When you have it on your finger to put it in your eye, it should look like a bowl. If it has a lip (looks like a little hat) then it is inside-out and will hurt a lot!

Not at all. Though sometimes I get something in my eye and it makes my contacts sting when I put them in. Just re-wet them if they sting or feel dry. If you are new to contacts, they kinda hurt a little bit the first few times you put them in. Soon they just kind of feel cool and refreshing when you put them in.

No, i wear them. It just depends what type you get and i think it does matter for contact solution not many people do though. When you put them in they just fit right on. You can't feel them at all once i forgot to take them out and i accidently slept with them in, but lucky they didn't go up my eye. If they do irratate you, then you need to change different types

Well at first when i used my acuve contacts they did hurt but it does go away. Sometimes it hurts because it has some sort of debris on it. I'd would just use the solution to wash i off. Other than that it really shouldn't hurt.

No, it doesnt at all. After a while you get used to it that you wont even feel them. PUtting them in is real easy, esp when you get used to it. I have been wearing contact lens for about 30 yrs with no problems at all.

no, it just feels a little weird.
try this, wash your hands first, and then try and lightly touch your eyeball. I know thats weird but thats what the eye dr. told my son to do. thats really what it feels like. just touch your eye a few times, and when you get to the point that your reflexes dont automaticly shut your eye, when you can relax, then try and put one in... oh and make sure you close the drain of your sink, I washed one of my $350 colored ones down the drain by dropping it.

No. The first time you wear them, it can feel a little different, but if they are fitted properly and you have enough moisture, you can't even feel them. Sometimes mine are a little bit uncomfortable if my eyes get too dry, or if it has flipped to the other side of how I usually wear them.

No, it doesn't hurt. But, it was difficult for me to put it on the first few times. Then, you get so used to it that it wouldn't bother you anymore and you'll get into the habit of it.
Young kids can do it, you can too.

the very 1st time that the optician puts them into your eyes is very scary, and it feels really strange..but once you get over the shock of it- u soon 4get that they are there!! It just takes practice, im having problems with mine at the mo- my eyes become sore as soon as i put them in & get very dry..but apart from that they r alot better than wearing glasses! good luck with yours (if u have them)
