I've never seen a scary movie that I actually thought was scary...I always go into the movie knowing that it's not real but sometimes could possibly happen....I usually go for the suspense and point of the story....I've watched a lot of behind the scenes for scary movies and once you know what they use for props and special effects, it kinda ruins the scary part of the movie, so I had to quit watching the behind the scenes part. My family always asks, how can you watch that gory bloody killing stuff and just set there like they are frolicking through a field of wildflowers? and I always say because it's not real and it's not scary or gross to me.....I love watching scary movies though they are my favorite type of movies to watch.....If I had to choose, the most recent "scary" movie that I have watched I think would actually be considered "scary" would be "The Exorcism Of Emily Rose"....only because it was based on a true story and because I believe that it's possible to be possessed by demons......the religious aspect of the movie appealed to me more than anything because to know that you are given a choice by the mother of God herself whether you want to end your suffering or stay and tell people your story could be construed as something that could actually happen to someone and also people visit her grave all the time. Thanks for asking the question and for the two points...

"Mars Attack" I know it's suppossed to be a comedy, but I watched it at a friend's sleepover party in 4th grade and the giant brain aliens and the green skeleton parts freaked me out. I'm sure there are scarier movies out there, but that's the one that creeped me out for the longest time, considering I was only 10.

WHITE CHICKS! Not a horror movie - but they MURDERED comedy. It's SCARY to see what a movie studio will throw money away on.
