I think they showed her to be the immature, irresponsible puppet she really is. She couldn't even defend herself. She sat there quietly like a mannequin while her mom did all the talking.

I know some PETA types. They picketed the psych research building at Purdue when I was there and threatened to kill me if I entered. It was 6:50 am on a sunday, and I was the first one there that day except the overnite people. These PETA people were, I thought, friends of mine. They set me up when they learned I was involved in psych research which generally employs rats. I feel for Beyonce, and I don't even like her stuff. No one deserves that crap.

I saw the video, and I think Beyonce conducted herself in a respectable manner. She should never have been set up like that. I think there should be a law against taping someone without their knowledge. Apparently in New York where she was taped it is not. It wasn't fair to Beyonce. The really unfortunate thing about it is that she was doing this dinner as a charity event. She may think twice about such events in the future. That is unfortunate, and everyone loses because of it.

I don't like Beyonce, but PETA was wrong. What did they accomplish? Getting attention? That is all they are after, just trying to get everyone as miserable as they are. I don't know how you can get so angry and bitter as a PETA member, or any other hippie-run organization. I never see them happy, always angry and bitter all the time, and nothing could ever change that. It is just how they were raised.

Couldn't give a flying kipper really. All PETA are doing is humilating a celebrity who a) has enough money and people fawning over them not to care and b) should have the good sense/taste not to wear fur.

I am not really passionate about their cause, but at least PETA get their message across without harming people - so fair play.

PETA? People Eating Tasty Animals?

if PETA feels they had a ligit issue, why would they go throught the problem of setting this up? they could have made some kind of comment.

what they did was take something that someone else might have enjoyed and they turned it to dirt.

that was a very nasty way to go about it.

isn't it funny how so many different belief groups don't want others' beliefs shoved down their throats when the are in fact guilty of doing it themselves?

As much as I hate seeing animals killed for fur, PETA always goes over the edge. There are better ways to protest.

I admire PETA's tenacity, but I think they do themselves a disservice by making people angry and hateful towards their organization. I understand they want people to hear their message, and I can respect their mission, but their tactics turn me off...in fact, they've disgusted me a time or two (anyone remember the "Your Mommy Kills Animals" campaign a couple of years ago?!?!).

PETA is right for confronting her. People should just watch how to they kill poor animals just for some ugly fur. Beyonce is just pathetic!

i feel like it was underhanded to just attack her like that. i feel if they wanted to bring her using fur in her fashion lines to the forefront then they should have come to her in a more respectable manner. maybe then they would've gotten a better, and clearer answer than what they received. but because of the way they did it they are now being attacked and called "crazy" and their dirt about the euthanasia of cats and dogs are being brought into the light. i guess the old saying of sweep your own front door before you sweep someone else's is ringing true now.
