Don't pay any attention to what howcoulditbeso just said because they OBVIOUSLY did not read the question correctly.
There are always going to be people who don't care about some thing or other and feel that you should not care either. Just keep on keeping on and some day you'll be able to look back on your successes and know that the idiots are jealous because you have made it. Then the idiots are going to think that because you worked your butt off and earned your success that you should give some to them. Don't give in. YOU earned yours! They deserve nothing from you that you are not willing to give them.

Unfortunately, the people who seem to care the least about learning are often the ones who care the most. There are a great deal of factors that could make someone appear to not care about learning, or worse yet, distract others from learning. Obviously, the "idiots" age has a lot to do with their reaction. They could be suffering from a frustrating learning disability; they could be recipients of mental/verbal/emotional abuse from someone and do not posess the abilities to ask for help; they could be neglected at home and simply calling out for attention; they could be jealous of others' intelligence, capabilities or looks; or they could be suffering from an incredibly low self-esteem because they know they can't learn as well as others. Most likely, nobody has given these "idiots" the time of day. It sounds to me like helping these people in need would also solve your own problem of having your learning infridged on. Why don't you ask these people, calmly and in a non-threatening manner, if there is anything you can do to help solve whatever problem they seem to be suffering from? If you are genuine about helping, you may make a difference.

Perhaps your idiots subscribe to the idea that experience is the best way to learn? Life is learning. If you allow yourself to become a full person, you will find school learning to be more of an escape than actually learning.

It is bad form to answer a question with a question, but I am going to do it. Why is the teacher letting the students disrupt the class?

Apperently they did come in you way. 'Idiots' is pleural. You use 'is' for singular subjects! ---and it should be either 'other's learning' or 'others from learning'.
