Doh! comes from Homer Simpson. He says "Doh!" whenever something hits him on the head, or when there are not enough donuts left... for example.
Since the simpsons is the longest running cartoon in history (it beat the Flintstones quite some time ago) some of the expressions from the show have become common in everyday language.
