The dinner party will begin at 8 o'clock, sharp.

I think it's a missing comma (where I put it), but I could be wrong. It's been too many years since I was in a class that focused on sentence structure and I'm a very lazy typer. I speak with excellent grammar, but my typing definitely leaves something to be desired.

Will begin is also not the best way to write it. It should be:

The dinner party begins at 8 o'clock, sharp.

According to the _Chicago_Manual_of_Stylye_, "Times of day in even, half, and quarter hours are usually spelled out in text. With _o'clock_, the number is always spelled out."
