when I look out of my window, in the back garden I see a rose garden followed by a black currant bush and on the opposite
a laurel and lavender bush.At the bottom of the garden is a shed and summer house engulfed by a rock garden and shrubs and the whole garden is made private by a 10 foot conifer hedge.
When the sun shines it makes you oblivious of any surrounding
houses

Kitchen window--birdbath with many different kinds of birds either getting a drink (South Texas hot, dry usually) or taking a bath, a huge thriving Sago palm that my brother gave me many years ago. Cars of our neighbors, coming and going. Kids out of school for the summer, playing. Dogs and people walking by. Squirrels (almost too many) in the two large pine trees just outside the window.

The gorgeous, inspiring sunshine illuminating the slightly overgrown grass, little bunches of daises scattered around & then dark bushes providing a depressing fortress against the view.
