West Indies have beaten India in their own country. Can they win the World Cup? if no then send in the country who will win the World Cup 2007 at West Indies.

lets face reality!!! With the present condition of the team we should not fool ourselves. There is only a couple of consistent players on the team and too much pressure is put on Lara, as captain and as a batsman. We can't depend on his talent alone although he is probably the greatest batsman ever. Best of luck to them though and they will always have my support come what may.

It is going to be a difficult task for the West Indies to win the World Cup but don't count them out completely. Generally W.I. is better in one dayers than they are in test matches (fortunately the world cup is the shorter version of the game) plus they are playing at home. Even if they don't win the Cup they still will be challenging (remember they are the ICC champions). It is not far fetched to think Australia or South Africa can win the title and probably they stand the best chance of doing it at WC2007.

Windies beat india 4-1 no luck . They will win the icc champions trophy and icc world cup with or without Lara.

the world cup takes place every 4 years. the next time will be in 2010

yes,they have definitely a great chance because:
(1)there contract row is now over
(2)they have lot of potential as they showed it in there recently concluded one day series
(3)there team composition is a mixture of youth and experience
and,(4)they will get the benefit playing under there own conditions.
but,other teams will give a tough fight.

bay, you talking fifa world cup in south africa in 2010. we talking cricket world cup in the windies next year. i would like if the windies could win the world cup but i am not pegging my hopes too high. however, one could never tell with the windies team. GO WINDIES!

westindies team have chances of winning the worldcup but not as much as compare to australia because australia is playing very good cricket. Whatever they lost series from southafrica.

They are too weak a tem to do any thing...also look at team no young talents..some old guys...they are short of talent..
