dont tell me to wait more cause i am really curious and i want this pregnancy so much

Test came negative. I am now 5 days late and basal temperature this morning was 98.3.

it should but it might not either. It depends on your body and how much of the pregnancy hormone you produce. With my daughter the test was neg took it again 2 months later and it was postive but here I was pregnant for a month when I took the first one. My son I didn't even miss my period but was sick and cranky and took a test and it was postive. So your best bet is take a test if's neg wait about a week and take another, still neg go to the doc for a blood test. But if you want to know right now go to the doc now.

you do risk, many things to cause a period to be late, including the fact that the simple stress of you even thinking your pregnant might do it. I would wait atleast 10 days. Sometimes the HCG isnt strong enough at first and around the 10 day mark it is. I do not remember where I read this at, but I think it was the Baby Magazine from parents.com.

I took a pregnancy test when I was only a few days late and it was basically inconclusive... the line was extremely faint. I took another one two weeks later and sure enough... positive! But these were just regular tests... some say they detect extra early and you may want to try one of those.
If it's negative and you still don't have your period in a week, I would retest.

I took a pregnany test 5 days before my period was due and I got a positive. I took one a few days later, just to make sure, and it was still positive. I am now 11 1/2 weeks pregnant! Good luck! :)

It's best if you wait at least a week before having a pregnancy test with accurate results (based on experience).

If you don't care about paying the money for the test then go for it. It may show a positive depending on your body and how much hCG is in your system.

A pregnancy test will be accurate if you are even one day late.

Some tests can be taken as early as 5 days BEFORE your period. Get one of those.
