This is an answer coming from a jew: If we appear tight to you, it is because we have a lot on our minds; try for a day to fulfill the will of your Creator and tell me if you don't fill tight! We consider that each man has a mission in life; fulfilling that mission takes a very big toll on you. Sure, you could just forget it and live a life of idleness and pursuit of pleasure, like the American Dream, but that is just not the jewish way of living.

As for being miserable; one thing is being miserable and another cautious with money. When you have a large family, bills to pay, school tuitions, donations to make, etc...believe me, you know the value of the dollar. You don't just throw your money away.

I have heard Jews are Shrewd and very money minded.
They plan everything in so much detail thats the reason they r on the top. Michael dell is a great example!

But at the same time I have heard they have no mercy. I dont have any jew friends so I am not sure!
But money wise they spend each penny wisely!

And you were suprised that some people got upset with this?

Answer:> most probably not.

But since I doubt there is a single person on the planet who is personally familiar with every single Jewish person, no-one could give you an honest "yes" answer.

I know at least one "Jew" who is the exact opposite of your postulate. Therefore, the only possible correct answer to your question is "NO, it is not true"

None of the Jewish people I know have been like that, only kind and generous. But the Scotsmen I know, now that's a different story! When my dad (of Scottish ancestry) opens his wallet, moths fly out. Copper wire was invented by 2 Scotsmen who both found the same copper penny at the same time. They both had hold of it and neither would let go and as they stretched out that penny it became copper wire. LOL
