does that meant that they need to remain emotionally immature and not take responsibility for their acitons? This is not intended as an insult. I want to understand why people turn so hard toward religion.

I fail to understand how you are making such a connection between considering God our father, and us remaining emotionally immature and not taking responsibility for our actions. Perhaps you could enlighten me by IM'ing me and explaining this in detail.

Yes, I do consider God my heavenly father. But that does not mean in any way, form, or fashion that I am emotionally immature. Nor does it mean that I believe that I am not responsible for my own actions. I am indeed 100% responsible for my deeds.

I am not really too keen on my own faith right now, because I am suffering. Right now, my family doesn't even have money for gasoline nor food. Things could be much better for us.

Religion gives meaning to life. It gives you a purpose to live for, guidelines to live by, and hope. This in no way makes anyone "emotionally immature". I don't see how it could.

You say it is not meant as an insult, so therefore you must reword your question, or at least think about something before you post and make generalizations.

Of cause not.

Well for me, I have experienced God. I am an officer when i was in military, and a General Manager when I was in Business. In both instance, I depend on God to care for my men when I was in action; as well as for my business.

I do not think at any moment I was immature, nor do I escape from responsibility, else, I would not have been promoted to the position I was in.

Been depending on God to me is, to place my trust on him. Each step i took, I will consider if it the best interest for the order (military), business, and if it please God.

When we honor God, trust me, he will honor us.

Anyway, it is good that you ask. If not, you will never have so many answers.

Go give yourselve a chance to try God. See if you can depend on him.

God is our father because he created us and he forgives us after we sin if we sincerely apologize. i really don't understand how this makes us emotionally immature. ppl always have to take responsibility for their actions whether they believe in God or not....we are no different than everyone else.

hope this helps u out!!!! :)
