ABSOLUTELY.
there should be a spy infiltrating that country to assassinate him. This will be a suicide mission. But it would be worth it. He IS the most brutal and evil dictator on this earth at this time>

He starves countless families--those who are not part of the military, leaving god knows how many children to starve on the streets
Sometimes the orphaned children are picked up, killed and eaten because people are starving so badly.
Kim Jong-il ordered farmers to stop producing food and start producing POPPY FOR HEROIN DISTRIBUTION... it is gangster nation with a million man army who tortures whole families--including children, because one member might have spoken out against the dictator.
They rip open pregnant women's bellies and kill their child in front of them as a practice if they try to escape or if suspected of treason.
Relief Food that good western nations send them is sold out on the market to only people who have money or is given to the military and the dictator.
He is a sick, twisted, disgusting man, MUCH worse than Saddam could ever dream of being.
but unfortunately, we choose our battles in a wimpy way. Iraq has oil. N Korea doesn't, so subsequently, our government doesn't care about those people who ARE SUFFERING ENDLESSLY---going on decades now.
N Korea HAS WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION POINTED IN OUR DIRECTION and has a million man army. So why should we care about those people, right?

We went into Iraq to get Saddam Hussein because he was a brutal dictator. Why should we make the exception for Kim Jong-il? Actually, I don't think we should have spent billions to get one person in the first instance. I definitely wouldn't support doing it a second time.

While the previous poster's suggestion has some appeal, Kim Il Jong is a murderous repressive tyrant who subjects his people to poverty, starvation and slavery. The world would be better off without him, and the NK people definitely. However, there would likely be some other NK yahoo (oops) to step up and take his place.

No, you know why? because there isn't any oil in North Korea. There are just hungry starving people in North Korea. Why would Cheney want hungry starving people?
