I found some weird files in my recycle bin one day that I'd never seen before and when I right-clicked and then clicked on properties it said they were all deleted on Sunday, June 09, 1630 3:58:18 AM and underneath that: Created: (unknown). I can't change the attributes but it's checked of as a system. I tried to remove them by doing a cut so I could empty the Recycle Bin but when I right-clicked and pressed Paste, it said: Cannot access Drive Z. All I know about is drives A-F. I need help 'cause I'm seriously confused and a little freaked out. I mean think about it:deleted on Sunday, June 09, 1630 3:58:18 AM? Created: (unknown)? What the heck is going on? 1630 was before the Declaration Of Independence, and they did not have computers back then. Somebody help me.

The correct name for it is not drive Z but Zdrive, The call this the distribution drive. Let me explain to you how it works. Say for example that your computer is connected to a server along with other person. There will be a common drive between all of you called the "Z Drive" Any information that you do on this drive will be viewable every one connected to that same server, as well as what they do you can also view it. Even though they can view your stuff and you view theirs. Either you are them can put pass words to what ever file they want if they had originally created it. hence you would only be able to look at it but not edit it. You said that it was in you recycle bin, What is giving me problem is that your bin should be on your desk top, not on the "drive, and only you can send file to the bin and only you can delete them if you want or restore them. No one else, unless someone used your computer, or you accidentally deleted it. Is it that you are miss under standing what you saw. Because in the bin if you had a file and deleted it, when you open the recycle bin it should be telling you that the file has been deleted, but not from the bin but from the original location.

Those folders are probably the original names of whatever info was deleted, Why don't you tell me the name of the folders, and I'll see if I can be of more assistance.
