start your car, push in the clutch, shift into first gear. Now this can sometimes be the hardest part:ok you have to lift up on the clutch, but dont do it very fast or you will kill the engine. when you have the clutch almost all the way up, push down the accelerator and go. once your engine starts revving pretty high/loud (or when your RPMs get pretty high if you have a RPM gauge) let up on the gas, push in the clutch, shift to second, and once agin let the clutch up easily and depress the accelerator. Do the same all the way until you get in your top gear (usually 4th, 5t, or 6th)Once you do it a few times its pretty easy.

The hardest part of driving a stick shift is on a uphill incline. Use the e-brake to hold the car in place so it doesnt roll back. When you want to move , release the brake and let the clutch up and accelerate at the same moment to pull the car upwards. As far as learning to drive a stick, all it is is a timing practive. Start by going foward, then reverse. Master this and the rest is easy. Just shift to the next gear. You shift to the next gear each time you reach the speed you want to attain. Just be careful, too high of an rpm shift will cause engine damage. Usually shift from 1st to 2nd at about 15mph, then 2nd to 3rd at 25 and so on.
Practice , practice ,practice. Thats the best teacher.
Good Luck

Press the clutch, put the car in reverse or 1st gear, depending on which direction you need to move and slowly let up on the clutch as you press down on the gas.
When the engine sounds like it's running too hard, press the clutch and shift to 2nd gear....and repeat each time until you get to 4th or 5th gear.
It takes a bit to get used to, but you'll find the perfect clutch-to-gas ratio and it'll be just fine!

left foot on the clutch right foot on the gas, slowly lifting your left foot while slowly pressing on the gas, if the car shakes you're releasing the clutch way too fast if car revs too much you're pressing on the gas too much. you'll have to mix both gas and clutch just right once you get the feel of it, its just like riding a bike it will come out naturally

Someone has to show you, not book knowledge. At first, Use a car, not a truck to learn..easier.
