try reinstalling JAVA and install limewire again, had the same problem a while back

try frostwire
same thing but newer.
I use it on my laptop- and it can search your harddrive for any songs that were already on limewire or cd's you saved!

where did you download it from? I got mine from download.com. I tried morpheus before but it kept giving me spyware so I got rid of it.
