First of all you shouldn't be worried about what they think or anyone else for that matter. When you are nervous or scared it shows in your voice and body.
Next you have to choose a setting, take them out or make dinner for them one night and just let them down gently, no matter what your sexuality your parents will love you no matter what.
The best way for you to tell them is " mom, dad, I am a homosexual." tell them not to say anything until they hear you out. and state your case let them know that you are happy and that you aren't willing to sacrafice that happiness so that they can be comfortable with you. Accept you the way you are. trust me parents are more forgiving then the outside world.

When you are ready you will tell them. If you think they will kick you out, just make sure that you have a backup plan in case you have to become self sufficent.
While it might be rough for a bit, I think you will find that the love of your parents knows no boundries and you will have the best relationship with them after you come out.
Now....if you are very young say 15 or under, you may want to wait as your sexuality is likely still developing.

I would get a place to stay or have a place to stay just in case. If it back fires or they get mad they might boot ya outta the house. After that go ahead, things might be fine and great or hot heavy and a hell of alot. If it is let them cool down, move out and let then come around to the the fact that ur gay.

first of all God did make you gay,,, no one would pick this life style i know,,,, so when people will say why or how can you,,, it was not a chose like i want steak or chicken,,,, and telling your parents will be hard and you just need to know when it is best for you tto come out ... you need to be happy just like any other person looking for a relationship and not be ashamed,,, but understand with that will come that some people will not accept it,,,, and may ridicule you and your lifestyle,,,, but be strong

Yes God made you this way.
Your parents love you. As scary as telling them might be, the relief of not having to carry around this heavy secret is so worth it.
Good luck to you!

sometimes its really none of your parents business. i mean, why tell them who you kissed? isnt it kind of personal? but if you are close to your parents and really want them to know, im sorry dear but all you can do is sit them down and tell them straight forward. print off some information from websites that have questions that a parent of a gay child would want to know. stay as calm as possible. good luck!

If you are gay you should not give a fly flip what other people think.
Even your parents they should want you to be happy.
I have a gay daughter and I am thrilled for her!!!
