Absolutely!! We are a land of all people from all nations. We have thrived as a nation when people come here with hope in their eyes and put their energy towards building a better life for their families. There is a lot more room for a lot more. We only ask that you try to be assimilated into the great melting pot like the rest of us.

The illegal ones - man, we understand that life may be hard where you are. But there needs to be respect for the law. Unlike the corrupt regimes in so many places - like Mexico - the US is a nation of laws, not men. Maybe we need to change our laws on immigration to better accommodate the reality of how our world economy is working today. But we have to enforce the law and secure our borders. The stakes are as high as the World Trade Center used to be..

I, like the majority of my fellow Americans, welcome the diversity of culture through the immigration system. What I don't like is people breaking the laws of this country as their first act upon American soil. By bypassing the immigration system they are stealing jobs from other deserving applicants who, because of geographical considerations, cannot simply walk across the border into a better life. There are millions of people in the world who would jump at the chance to live and work in the United States. Why limit it to one culture? I understand the reason for what they are doing, but I believe that there has to be control of our borders if we are to continue to be a leader in the world,

Many are accepting them all, but want employers to stop hiring new illegals, which would effectively eliminate the reason they come.

No jobs, no migration.
