How do you fix an xbox 360 that says "To play this disc , put it an xbox 360."?

clean it or polish it, (using disc doctor or other similar device), if you are in warranty just make a claim with the company that sold it to you (game or hardware)

Try cleaning the disc first, look for scratches, sometimes the laser cannot recognize the disc if its dirty or scratched.
