i made a scrensaver of gif animated image with the help of screensaver maker software in win 98. when the screensaver comes on screen the image face on one side looks as somene has thrown black paint on it but it is for 2 seconds after that it becomes o.k on my pc win 98 but if i install this on xp, the screensaver doesn't become o.k and the black paint doesn't go off. any idea

You should provide more details.. what software you used to make it?? Something which work in 98 may not work on XP...

why dont u use the picture screensaver facility in windows xp. it is very useful.
