Perhaps because we are a country that can admit that we make mistakes, & we actually have the ability to learn from them. Believe it or not, we are not a nation full of bullies that goes around kicking everyone's *** that pisses us off. If that were the case, I can think of ten countries off the top of my head that we would have shut up a long time ago. Ponder this over for a bit...if we are the world bullies you are accusing us of being...what other nation do you know of that has gone to war with a country & then cared enough to actually risk more lives to stay & help rebuild it & try to make it a better place then before we got there?

The U.N. appointed WOMD inspectors into Iraq, They reported finding materials and missles capeable of distroying millions of people. The WOMD inspectors were hot on the trail of more weapons, when the Iraq goverment stepped in and denied access to many sites. and finnely refusing any more inspections. Many months after the WOMD inspectors were tossed out of the country, the U.S. and a couliton forces invaded the country. there were no WOMD found, but there was plenty of time for these weapons to be moved out of the country before the invation. they could have easley been moved to Seria, or Iran. both of these countrys still yet today harbor terrorist. Now besides all that, the invation freed a nation of people who were under a brutle dictator, who murdered, tortured, gased, millions of his own people. forget the WOMD, this fact alone is reason for helping these people, plus we busted up the alkada terriost training camps making the U.S and the world much safer place.
North Korea's leader is a radical extreamist who deep down wants to take a shot at the U.S.. He has openly ammitted to it. He has also brags and has shown the world he has them. We also have proof he does. The U.S. has tryed deplomicy with Korea, just like they did with Iraq, but with not much sucess. does this mean we will invade N.K. I seriously doubt it. but we will keep the pressure on N.K. and make them accountable for any agressive action to the U.S.
I think I have answered your twisted question maybe now you will rethink or reserch your question, but if not, so be it your intitled to your view.

The reason we're not forcibly invading Korea is simple = China.
While it's a known fact that the Korean's aren't exactly chummy with either the Chinese or Japanese, they still would look to that as a potential saber rattling of an attack on their soil.
And, like this or not....we simply would not win a war with China....and because of those industry ties (and how many billions upon billions we're indebted already to that nation) we can't risk ruffling feathers.
The "answer" to this in turn is diplomatic diplomacy, and vying for international support under the already blatantly boasted on threat of nuclear potential from Kim Jong Il.....
If we strike first w/ 0 provocation....it'll get REALLY messy. We'll be lambasted by China, Japan, and the European Union. In other words, our image is already dragging through the mud by our own stupidity....it'll only get worse.

In case you haven't noticed when comparing apples and oranges you realize that yes they are fruits but really quite different...
North Korea--crossed air and water boundaries
Iraq-war with Iran and invaded Kuwait
North Korea--starving their own people
Iraq--practicing torture and oh a few 10K of deaths here and there
Well I could go on but you might get the picture with those simple examples, well than again maybe not ;-)

Because we don't want to start something with China. It would be the same as if someone tried to invade Israel, we would be there to help. China would help North Korea for sure.
Our administration wants to try diplomacy as we did with Saddam for years, even though he kept shooting at our aircraft day after day.
If you actually do read the news you'll see that our decision is widely supported on the North Korea problem.

North Korea has a stronger military. Also, we are stretched way too thin now.
We can't fight back to back wars realistically.
Also, American and World public opinion won't accept another conflict like that right now.
Sure we could beat them down right now IF WE HAD TO. However, it would not be a smart idea.
We need to get away from further conflict, and quit spending money we don't have.
I hope that answers your question.

North Korea already has weapons of mass destruction so therefore diplomacy is being used. Saddam had 14 UN resolutions he was to comply with (diplomacy) and he violated all of them. Have we convienently forgotten that? He was warned that Iraq would suffer military action if he did not comply and therefore our troops killed both of his arrogant sons and found him in a hole. North Korea may suffer a worse fate if Kim Jong il doesn't come to his senses.

This is another typical lib question.
Iraq had WMD. Sadam killed 300,000 of their own countrymen with WMD. Get over it. Face reality.
Are you worried that N. Korea is testing a missile that can carry a nuclear warhead to the US west coast? What should we do?
Are you worried that Iran (with a nutso president) is enriching nuclear fuel to a point where they can have a nuclear warhead?
What should we do????
Why don't you provide a position instead of finding fault with anything and everything this country does.
Oh, I know..... It's much easier to find fault, then to find solutions.

We haven't invaded the entire Middle East-yet.
Because it doesn't benefit the Bush administration.

What kind of a moron are you. Why in the hell would other countries attack the US if we attacked N. Korea? Do you actually think that they would want to ally themselves with N. Korea? Grow a brain and get some education.
