Yes, they can and will do better.
Like a few other people said, Z is still pretty good, but he is getting old. I wouldn't get rid of him yet though because last season there were some games that he scored close to 30 points. He helps the Cavs at the free throw line too. Last season I think that he was over 90%.
Also, we need a point guard that can lead the team, but also score 10 or 15 points a game.

Yes, but it starts with the point guard. Eric Snow, don't get me wrong, I like him, but he is not a dominate point guard. We need someone who can run th offense as well as score 12 pts. a game. I don't think that is asking for much. A previous answer is right about Zee, but I think the true center is starting to disappear in today's NBA. Look at the playoffs this year. Who was the Mavs true center? Yes, I know the Heat have Shaq, and they won, but look at Pheonix, and Detroit as well. We need players that can run up and down the whole game. Also defense is a need. I have heard rumors of Ben Wallace being let go. This would be a great compliment to the defense of Larry Hughes, as well as to Drew Gooden in the Middle. I would love to see him in a Cavs uniform banging around for 15 rebounds anight. Also a great deterrent for the opponents who try and attack the rim.
Sorry for the essay, but yes, they can get better with the right acquisitions in the off season.

It all depends on how far as the role players go. The cavaliers had the pistons this year but when the pistons decided to double team Lebron at half-court the role players did not nothing to help. If Lebron gets support from his cast, Lebron will soon get some rings.

Yes. No matter who is on their roster next year, as long as LeBron keeps improving he'll make his teammates better too because that's the kind of player that he is. He is willing to share the ball because he trusts his teammates and that unleashes his teammate's potential like Ronald "Flip" Murray for example. LeBron can carry his entire team on his back into the playoffs, that's how good he is. They would be definitely better next year if they can get some better shooters and a frontline shotblocker. And they have to get a decent point guard. They can't keep on relying on Eric Snow and Damon Jones although Damon has his bright moments.

The Cavs will be a much BETTER team next year, Lebron is one of the premier players in the League and he has a good nucleus around him, and I'm sure there will be free agents out there wanting to play with him, so they will be a better team, but on the other side of the coin, they will be in tough again next year because the division is so competative

No. Lebron is going to try to outplay Wade, which he can't, and turn into the next Iverson. Which is a good thing if you want a one player team that's always fighting and that always has expectations that are to big.

Hell yea! Lebron is always improving, he causes mis-matches every night because hes practically unguardable. Ilgauskas will do better (I hope) and Varejao is a friggin beast!!!
The Cavs don't really need a new pg, but maybe a new big man.

They definitely can, but only if they get a new center or solid backup to Z, a good young shooting guard next to Hughes, and an all around deeper bench.

one word.. LEBRON..
they will definitely get better.. look at what they did in just their first year in the playoffs.. they gave a couple of teams a run for their money
all LB needs is one more superstar with him (kinda like a pippen for an MJ)..
LB is just too good.. big.. athletic.. can get to the line whenever he wants.. and is very mature for his age.. the scary thing is he's only 21? =/
