First, drag the movie file into Movie maker, Then add the Music.
If you have already done that, and the Final Movie is ready to be made into a DVD.

You can use a Program Like CD/DVD Creator, Ulead DVD Creator.
Find any of this Programs for free Trials at www.download.com.

While computers are able to play many formats of movies (wmv from Movie Maker, avi, quicktime, mpg, etc) DVD players can only play one kind of movie file: mpg. And normally those are run through an encoder that saves them with a .vob extension to make copying of the files difficult.

Unfortunately Movie Maker can not save files in mpeg format. Bill Gates wants everybody to use Windows movie format (wmv) so he only lets Movie Maker save in that format. So you will need to either get a video editing software that lets you save in mpg format (everything except Movie Maker does) or a program for converting wmv into mpg.

But as the quality of wmv is lower then mpg, you probably do not want to convert. The resulting files will not look good when played on your DVD player. You want to purchase a software that will let you create DVD quality mpeg files instead.
