it's unsafe to lose more than 3-5 pounds per week. However, if you want to lose it at that pace, increase your exercise (consult your doctor first, he/she will help you make a workout plan that's right for you), and eat more lean white meats/less fatty foods/salads without dressing.

The Atkins diet is the fastest one. You can lose twenty pounds in one month if you follow it strictly. I did, so I know others can too. You are allowed to eat only protien. Beef, pork, chicken, fish, eggs, cheese, mayonaise, but nothing else when you first start out. Now, you will lose a lot of water weight initially. Just be sure to drink plenty of water. NO other liquids even those diet drinks as the water is really needed to help flush out the waste toxins and it will help with the ketosis breath. Go and buy those diabetic piss sticks to check to ketosis. You want to reach ketosis, but in a controlled manner. When you reach ketosis your body is burning fat rapidly. After the first couple of months you can slowly add green vegtables. NO fruit yet, and never fruit juices. Fruit juice is just a form of sugar drink and really does not have much nutritional value (except prune, and V8) orange juice may have vitimin C but you can get that else where without putting all that sugar into your body along with it. Eating whole fruit is much better than having fruit juice. Whole fruit has fiber and keeps most of the nutrients that processing it into juice removes. I don't care what anyone says apple juice is just a form of koolaid. Loaded with sugar and without any real nutritional benifits.
Get the Atkins diet book if you want too. But if you just eat the food I listed up there for two months, slowly add vegetables and then small amounts of fruit like blue berries, raspberries, strawberries, which are full of anitoxidents and fights aging and cancer, you will be fine. By the way, on this diet you can eat as much as you want at first. After you have been on a while and have gotten all your sugar cravings put aside, then begin to work on keeping to a 2,000 calorie diet. Exercising is important too. It speeds up weight loss and keeps you toned as you lose weight, fighting the effect of lose skin after rapid weight loss.
I lost over 100 pounds fifteen years ago and have kept it off all these years using this diet. I know others who have had equal results and they have kept it off as well. It is changing your eating and lifesytle habits which will keep the weight off. Exercise is key to keeping it off and in reducing stress. Many overweight individuals are stress eaters. Keeping stress down will assist in stopping many of those stress eating binges.
Good luck in losing the weight. Remember, the healthiest weight loss is one to two and a half pounds a week. Initially you will lose much more rapidly than that so take good care of yourself. If you feel weak, eat something. You may find you where hypoglycemic and by eating six small protein meals a day, the weakness, faintness, and sugary cravings will dissapait and then just never return. It does take some disapline, you have to really want this. If you do not really want to do the work, this life style diet nor any other will ever get or keep the weight off you. You really have to want this change and embrass it rather than fight it. Blessed Be.

i would suggest you skip dinner for a week (or two, depends on the time left) that would do it. It has been a routine when Im getting a lot of pounds and it works for me. Just eat good breakfast and lunch though. If you can be able to do away with meats, stick with just fruits and vegetables... Try it, I'm sure you will like the outcome!

I've done this, go to walmart and buy a plastic jogging suit, they sell them in the sports department, You will need supervison for this. Get a bike, ride laps , diet right, you will sweat so much. the pounds fly off,
warning this is dangerous and should be done supervised in case you faint, you may experience nausia and throw up or possibley faint,
but you will lose weight fast

How fast are you looking at losing it? There's no way you can get weight off in a matter of a week if that's what you're looking for unless you have liposuction.
