I mean is there some sort of deadness in their eyes or a lack of expression that is present in pictures of these types of people that can be an indicator of how they may be in their adult life?

Aaah, ur worried in case someones spotted u yet! If u want to get away with it here's some advice, most serial killers tend to "keep themselves to them selves" and "seem like really nice normal people" so best thing to do is go out n get drunk alot n generally be really shitty to people! that way they'll never suspect you!

You can not judge the character by appearance.
Don't be a phrenologist.or a Physiognomist.
Phrenology is the study of the structure of the skull to determine a person's character and mental capacity. This pseudoscience is based upon the false assumption that mental faculties are located in brain "organs" on the surface of the brain and can be detected by visible inspection of the skull. The Viennese physician Franz-Joseph Gall (1758-1828) claimed there are some 26 "organs" on the surface of the brain which affect the contour of the skull, including a "murder organ" present in murderers.

Physiognomy is the interpretation of outward appearance, especially the features of the face, to discover a person's predominant temper and character.

I think its a mixed bag. If you look at photos of Ted Bundy, you can almost feel the evil in his soul. Same with John Wayne Gacy. But then Jeffery Dahmer looked fairly normal. Guess it's the degree of insanity and the perception of the person viewing the photo.

Most serial killers appear normal, that's what makes it scary. They look like your normal person and they often have a "normal" life aside from their other life.

yes i think they all look normal. i mean look at ted bundy or the green river killer. they both lived "normal" lives. the green river killer had a family and all. so i guess that answers your question. i really dont think there is a way to tell unless they are crazy.

No way to tell. Actions are a greater indicator of future behavior.
