Unfortunately, when a woman has her most precious reproductive organs removed, even more is going on inside her brain. Removal does not have to interfere with ones sexual drive however, depending on the loss of estrogen, total or partial surgery, the amount of time or pain one experienced prior to the surgery, if the female has a supportive partner, if you already have children, or if not; emotional concerns, physical pain, etc. always has an effect on the post-surgery outcome. The research has indicated that post surgery has little effect on sexual drive, but each woman is different. Consult your doctor. You may need some vitamins to help build your system, if you have a partner who is supportive, discuss your concerns with him, hopefully, he is patient and will help you. And most importantly, be good to yourself. Love you. Give yourself some time to heal and recouperate. Your sexual desires will return. Listen closely to what your body, mind and heart tell you. You are still a beautiful and engaging woman with much to offer the world. Good luck, friend.

Hormone shots or suppliments seem to do the trick. My mom actually had one done at 25 and well lets just say thank god I don't live with her and her bf after she began hormone therapy.

I understand that a doctor can help with this. If you are married you need to be there for your husband.
