Everyone is so wrapped up in trying to impress those around them. Why?

It's called natural selection - survival of the fittest. In nature, animals will only mate with the strongest animals, the weaker ones are killed (think: you never see disabled animals in the wild: why?) So for humans it is the same. Except we don't kill the weak ones..of course ;-)

Are you an alien? First you don't need to say human species, you can just say human. Not everyone is wrapped up trying to impress others. Some of us wake up, shower, put on clothes and live life. Life to too short worrying about what others think.

We have created a society through the media that puts an emphasis on beautiful people. When's the last time you saw some beer gut or thunder thigh play the lead in a movie? Look around you. All the advertising is attractive people.

when adam and eve sinned, they were cast out of the garden and started wearing clothing/making some. it caused shame because they lost their imperfection. and so we have come to look at outer appearances instead of what is really on the inside. we are a visual species....and judge based on outer appearances.

Because we watch too much television and bank on what the media says we are supposed to look like, act like, etc. It's disgusting. Be yourself! And love you for you.

because thts wat the human race was raised to do by books, media nd otha methods of brainwashing. call me paranoid i dnt care. humanity( or whatever they call themselves these days) is heading for a shipwreck brought unto themselves.
