I have heard that loud noise can make you miscarry. I don't remember where I heard that or if it's true, but I woudln't risk it.

I took my wife to see Arsenal play when she was more than 6 months gone, although I actually got seats instead of standing in the Clock End as normal. A 4-0 win with plenty of noise and her jumping out of her seat didn't do her or the baby any harm.
I took him along to his first game when he was 6 weeks old and strapped in a sling. He's still an Arsenal fan and is about to go to one of the top universities in the UK, so I can only conclude that it definitely did him good!

I don't know that it is a problem. Studies show that babies do pick up the sounds and can identify certain tunes (the study used a TV theme) with the parent calming down (to watch said TV show) after birth, the test children also appeared calmer when the theme music was played. As for damage to their hearing from to much base? I haven't heard of it but that may be a lack of study.

The more noise you expose your baby to inutero the better off he /she will be. all the noises your baby is hearing right now is muffeld he/she can hear yes but not as loud as you think remember your baby is floating in her/his own lil jacuzzi in your womb. there is a really good site www.babycenter.com thats where you can chart your babys growth and get helpful tips on what you should and shouldnt do i do not recommend sleeping on your tummy your left side is best. go to the site it will take you all the way basically to toddlerhood and I use it regularly its a good site check it out it will answer most if not all of your questions about your baby and how you are going to feel etc... Good luck to you and be safe.

I attended an Eric Clapton concert when I was 6 months. I didn't see any effects at all on my child, except that he would sleep better if I played Clapton songs for him!
Just use common sense. Don't get too tired, don't get into any sit that could be dangerous for you.. and honestly, don't get tooo terribly close to the huge speakers.

It's fine to go, but stay out the mosh pit and stay out of the crowed as much as possible cuz if you're standing people will push, some people are just rude. My doc told me it was okay to go to a concert but then I told him it was Oz feast and it was front row tickets and he told me no, because of the mosh pits and people behind you might not see that you are pregnant. But the music itself will not harm the baby. Go have fun you the mother knows how to keep your baby safe.

I personally wouldn't stand right next to the speakers, but you can go to concerts, etc without hurting your baby. You may notice she moves around alot more because she will be able to hear the sound.

You can go. Just don't be surprised if the baby is inside dancing. lol..... When I was prego with my 2nd son I went to several concerts and my baby would kick to the bass! It was great. It won't hurt the baby, just be careful and don't let your belly get bumped. NO MASHING! lol

Your baby is ensconced in water. It would be like beating a drum over the ocean. Go have fun. The baby will be fine. I have had 2 babies so i do speak from experience. Congrats by the way.

I am going to Pride this weekend in Atlanta, the only thing that my doctor was worried about was the heat. Other than the heat, my doctor said it would be fine. Just to drink plenty of fluids, and get plenty of rest before and after.

I wouldnt. the bass at concerts and events messes with my heart. and iam fully formed and functional. I wouldnt risk it, but thats my own personal feeling. I wouldnt want my baby to have heart palpitations. Or an irregular heart beat or something.
