that would put you in the normal range.

well up until your 12 weeks ur in the higher risk of miscarriage. so therefore u'd go down if u where about to experience a miscarriage. if your doc had a problem with ur hcg levels then he would have deffeitnly told u.
85% of normal pregnancies will have the HCG level double every 72 hours.
HCG levels peak at about 8-10 weeks of pregnancy and then decline, remaining at lower levels for the rest of the pregnancy.

you have to compare it with the last reading. This value does not mean anything by itself.
If the previous reading was less than 3000 then you are OK.
