I have met many kind and accommodating Polish people. If you are a guest you are treated like a king or queen. It is helpful to speak some Polish as many older generation Poles don't speak much English and speak an older English which for me (a native English speaker ) was difficult to catch at times.

I work with 2 ladies from Poland & I can tell you they are lovely people. Bright, funny, sociable.

heh, im very glad of answers i saw here, above me:)
they are true...
ppl are different everywhere...
in poland.theres maybe toomuch complaining - less action... ppl are looking at least as much in past as in future.
very faithfull but it takeds them time to trust. polite an dmodest (in relations wth others)
+katowice are more industrial city/ppl
warsaw is more bussines, poplitics city/ppl
krakow uis definitelly arts, culture and univ..

They are very similar to people in Hartford, Cleveland, and Des Moines

well polish people are very kind and welcoming they love to have friends.Also they are bright funny and interesting
