It was probably mid to late '80s when it came on and it wasn't on for very long, maybe one season. It came on after I got home from school so maybe around 4:00 or 5:00. It was about a bunch of kids, ages around 12 - 14. The format was almost like a soap opera in that each couple of kids had their own separate storyline and it kept switching between them all. The only characters I remember was a girl that lived with her dad on their boat (I don't remember her name), a little rich girl (I don't remember her character name either but I believe SMG was playing her) and this girls boyfriend named Garrett. They had like a Romeo and Juliet thing going on. They would talk through a concrete wall in her yard.

Not that this is too important, it is just driving me crazy because I can't think of the name of the show or remember anymore about it. I do remember as an 11 or 12 year old girl, I loved it!

Anyone have any information?

The best place to go for information about actors in TV or films is the Internet Movie Database (IMDB).

I don't see a program that sounds like the one you are describing in Gellar's IMDB article but perhaps you will recognize the program name if you look at the list of programs and films that she has done.

Perhaps you mean "Swan's Crossing", which was from 1992, not the 1980s? According to the cast list, Gellar was the star and there was a character named Garret in the cast.

Wow this is an truly had comparision. From what i've got considered of Jennifer Love Hewitt, i for my section like her lots. She seems very all the way down to earth and he or she has a remarkable bubbly character. however Sarah Michelle Gellar seems intense-high quality however i could nonetheless decide for Jennifer Love Hewitt.

She was on a series called "Girl Talk" back in 1989. That's probably what you're thinking of. Other than that, the only TV shows she was on in the 80's were individual episodes of "Spenser: For Hire" and "Crossbow." And of course she was on "All My Children" in the early 90's.
