My husband will be away the week i am likely to ovulate so he is going to ejaculate into a cup so i can freeze it and use it while he is away. How long does it take to thaw? Any helpful tips? Thanks x

The sperms wont survive.Forget it,OK it wont work.There are two things for you to do,either go with him on the trip or wait patiently for the next ovulation.Mind you for some of us that have had babies,you may not likely conceive the month you so desperately want it,it may come the next month,or the next or even the next.Chances are even if you go on the trip with him,you mightn't conceive neither will you if he doesn't go on the trip at all.Relax baby,you have years and months ahead of you.Missing this ovulation wont do you any harm.By the way,what happened the last ovulation???This may be the opportunity your body has been waiting for.Relax, while he is away,upon his return,you'll continue from where you stopped.If you carry out your plan,it will make u a desperado and i bet you will be sooooo frustrated.Take it easy,you have till the end of this year.I'll pray you get a miracle.Good luck.

It won't work, they freeze the sperm instantly by plunging it into liquid nitrogen, at something like -200 degrees. Trying to freeze it in any other way will end up in the death of the sperm as the cells will be destroyed. Sorry to bear tha bad news, but it just won't work.

I don't think that you can do that. I think that when it is frozen in a clinic it is in Nitrous Oxide, or something like that, and it is at a very low temperature (200 below 0). Just wait until the next month to try or go to the doctor and ask them.

Mike from Spain is exactly right. to try to freeze the sperm yourself will only kill them. It has to be plunged into liquid nitrogen, not the home freezer. Sorry!!

just unfreeze it overnight like you do with meat. then use a dildo and hey presto....you should be knocked up in no time.
