Okay, you've just proved you're an idiot.

Time travel. The item stays stationary, it's place on the globe doesn't change, just it's space in time. If your friend had made this time machine, it would not make a soda appear in front of you from 10 miles away.

Maybe he slipped drugs into your food and you imagined it.

Here's a secret to time travel that no one else knows, and I'm only sharing it with you because you have actually seen a time machine work.

The secret ingredient to the time machine is marijuana.

After you have smoked enough, you'll be able to witness the whole time/space thing.

Shhh. It's secret.

No he is not. I picked one up at Wal-mart a few weeks ago....no I think is was a few weeks ahead....no I didn't pick it up yet. Sorry, I have a tough time keeping track of time after buying this machine on clearance. I would bring it back but I haven't bought it yet. Or did I?

Time is real. The fact that you, yourself, exist is proof of this - you are a machine travelling through time at a rate of one second per second.

I believe nothing is impossible. However is your friend rich? Because if he has really created such a contraption he would have sold the design and would have made himself a multimillionaire.

Unless you can somehow travel faster than the speed of light, I don't think it is very possible.
