I have a samsung 530 and I want to send a viseo to my cousin but it keeps saying 'unsupported media' does any one have a clue what that means.

That means your phone doesn't support the type of media I get that with my nextel phone.

The Samsung 530 records the video files using the MPEG4 standard. Your cousins phone would need to support this type of file.
Without knowing the make and model of your cousins phone, i am unable to say if it should work or not. Although from the error message you are receiving, i would think not.

Could it be that your cousins phone doesn't support the media you are trying to send?

It may be that your contract doesn't cover video messages, sometimes a contract will be cheaper if you don't include all the possible things the 'phone can do, which can be frustrating - call your service provider and check which messages are covered by your contract.

I think that your mobile can't send video. Because it have a big size. Conecting by GPRS only can send about 60 to 70 Kbyes.
Or GPRS service isn't ready. You should to see GPRS service again.

try sending it to an email or to someone elses phone it could be that his phone wont allow haat kind of media to be sent or your phone doesnt just try sending it to other people or to a computer
