I read it somewhere long time back that the Jewish who came from Israel long time back settled in south India places like Kerala,Maharashtra.
followed by zorastrians from Iran In maharashtra. and the marathas as known as the black Jews by the european Jews..the lost tribe of israel.

There are a few different Jewish groups who came into India at different time periods.

The "Bnei Menashe" are one tribe with seemingly very acient roots.

There is a group in India who claim to descended from the tribe of Menasseh. Religious authorities in Israel have investigated and believe the claim has merit. However, as there are poor marriage records, the authorities rules that to be accepted as full Jews, they would have to undergo a streamlined conversion process. The same is true of the Falasha of Ethiopa

I'm not Jewish, But I do not think that is the Lost Tribe of Israel. The Tribes refer to the brothers of Joseph in the Old Testament, Tribe of Benjamin for example, or so I was taught in catechism.
